ArizonaGIA Conference

azgia2015The Arizona Gang Investigator’s Association will hold their 10th Annual Training Conference in Tempe, AZ June 6-9, 2017. The conference is sponsored by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, Pinal County Attorney’s Office, Pima County Attorney’s Office, US Marshall’s Office, the Arizona State Gang Task Force GIITEM, and the Apache County Attorney’s Office.

Similar to previous years, a basic introduction to gangs course will be offered on Monday June 5th followed by the 4-day conference Tuesday June 6th – Friday June 9th.  Lunch will be provided on days to be determined. Networking events will be held evenings similar to previous years.

The final 2017 Arizona Gang Investigator’s Association conference agenda has not been finalized however topics from previous conferences have included prison gangs, street gangs, gang prosecution, current trends and intelligence, outlaw motorcycle gangs, case studies, officer safety and awareness in dealing with gangs and many more.

Attendance at the 2017 ArizonaGIA conference will also include a 1-year membership with ArizonaGIA.
